Acquisition by the Aliaxis Group

Today heralded a new and exciting milestone for Studor – the Studor business* has been acquired by the Aliaxis Group, which has a global turnover of €3 billion and provides a real opportunity to build on the heritage of Studor and continue to develop drainage ventilation technology for the buildings of the future.

The trading operations of the business will be transferred to Akatherm BV in the Netherlands, which is Aliaxis’s “specialised drainage” brand, and also houses the Hydrodynamic competence centre for Drainage Technology, making it a natural strategic fit with the Studor business.

Aliaxis recognises that we are in a fast-changing world and that there are many opportunities for growth, particularly in the high-rise market.
